As part of the NHBC Foundation’s remit to provide the industry with useful and relevant guidance, its latest publication considers piled foundations for low-rise housing developments. The guide explores various design approaches along with the associated environmental and economic advantages and addresses the selection of foundations, site investigation practice, and design and construction methods for piled foundations.

The guide was being launched on 17 February, in conjunction with the ABE at the Hilton Hotel in Northampton.
